Highly-Anticipated Event to Return After Association Relaunch
The Tennessee Veterans Business Association’s Annual Keynote Dinner, Business Expo and Veteran Job Fair will be returning to Knoxville in early 2018.
The Annual Keynote Dinner, Business Expo and Veteran Job Fair will be held January 29 and 30 at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Knoxville. TVBA President and CEO Dr. Eric W. Barton called the event an opportunity to “celebrate the veteran business community and showcase our partnering companies and members.”
“After a one-year hiatus, TVBA is back and better than ever!” Barton said. “The return of the TVBA Annual Keynote Dinner, Business Expo and Veteran Job Fair is only the beginning for this beloved and revamped association.”
The high-energy, two-day expo connects government, industry, active duty and retired military personnel and veteran-focused nonprofits for a business showcase and hiring event.
Activities kick off with a cocktail networking reception at 5:30 p.m. with the Keynote Dinner and Awards Presentation from 6:30-9 p.m., Monday, Jan. 29 in the Tennessee Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza. This year’s Keynote Dinner speaker and annual awards categories will be announced at a later date, so be sure to stay tuned to TVBA’s website and social media for more details.
In past years, TVBA has secured prominent veteran speakers such as Blue Angels Narrator and Solo Pilot Scott “Yogi” Beare, former U.S. Army solider and Dancing with the Stars finalist Noah Galloway and U.S. Army Staff Sgt. (Ret.) and motivational speaker Shilo Harris.
The Business Expo and Veteran Job Fair follows the next day from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30, where more than 100 companies are slated to attend. The expo is free to the public and offers networking, a great business-to-business trade showcase and opportunities for hiring companies and veterans seeking career opportunities.
